Tomato "Apelsin" (Orange).
The fruits are juicy, meaty, sweet, and aromatic!
A large, high-yielding, mid-ripening variety (108-115 days from germination). The plant is indeterminate, 170-190 cm high. Shaped into 1-2 stems. The first inflorescence forms above the 9-11th leaf, subsequent ones — every 2-3 leaves. The cluster is simple, with 3-5 meaty fruits. The fruits are round, fleshy, weighing 180-250 g each (some up to 400 g), with very few seeds.
The variety sets fruit well even under adverse weather conditions. The taste qualities are excellent; the tomatoes are sweet, with an increased beta-carotene content. Suitable for processing into juice.
Recommended for open ground and film greenhouses. Yield in the greenhouse: 6-7 kg/m2.
Agrotechnology.
Sowing time for seedlings: 50-65 days before planting in the greenhouse.

Best predecessors: cabbage, cucumber, onion, peas (cannot be planted after potatoes and other nightshades).
Seed viability period: 4-6 years.

Tomato Apelsin Tomat

Lycopersicon lycopersicum (L.)

* Did you know that the reason for the absence of ovaries in tomatoes during abundant flowering occurs when:
1. Temperature too low (below +16°C)
2. Too high (above +30°C) average daily temperature
3. Lack of light.
Uneven coloring of fruits occurs as a result of:
a) temperature too high
b) lack of potassium and magnesium gives a green spot on the ripe fruit
c) high concentration of nitrogen in ammonia form
d) insufficient lighting produces brown spots.
